Who we are
Christchurch Music School is a small independent music school/cooperative of 7 teachers offering 1 to 1 music lessons to people of all ages.
Essential
Must be available every week of the school term (38 weeks in the year).
Be available for work long term to see children and adults through their whole learning journey.
Teachers must be friendly, approachable above all reliable.

Work basis
Freelance/part time.

We work with teachers to help them achieve their own personal objectives.
While all our teachers have many years of teaching experience we are happy to welcome those who are new to teaching & looking for long term work.

Criteria for teaching at CMS: Teach to grade 6 RSL/ABRSM/Trinity (or equivalent exam board) standard
Hold a current DBS check or be eligible to undertake one
Have an understanding of how children learn and care passionately about children's safety and well being.
Desirable:
A-level, Diploma or Music degree.
